Yes I was told to use raspberry leaf tea to 'ripen my cervix' in the later weeks of pregnancy. It is a traditional remedy that has been used for generations and a few scientific studies too. I personally enjoy the flavour so drank plenty of it with my second in particular and did it work? Well I don't really know for sure but I had a nice, speedy birth even though I was induced so perhaps the tea contributed? Or perhaps I was always going to have that experience-tea or not... Who knows, but worth trying anything for a nice, speedy birth if its not going to cause any harm! This beautiful blend has the addition of peppermint and stinging nettle for an extra boost but also to improve the flavour. Three cups a day max. And please note-they do say to avoid using this tea until the last trimester of your pregnancy.
