Pretty Pink Yoghurt

No doubt you have all walked through the supermarket and seen the huge variety of yoghurts on the market. Yoghurt is full of probiotics which is essential for gut health but do we really need all of the sugar (or artificial sweeteners) that come with it? We buy a big tub of natural or greek yoghurt and flavour it our own way. Below is one of Hudson's favourites. I don't really like to overdo the dairy though I am conscious of calcium requirements for growing young boys. And takes less than 2 minutes so even better!

How is it loaded? Made only with natural yoghurt (feel free to use coconut if you are dairy free), fruit and a little touch of maple syrup. There are no empty calories in this one!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup berries (I use frozen raspberries mostly)
  • 1/2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • chia seeds to top

Process:

  • Add berries and maple to a bowl and microwave for 30 sec or so to release some juice and create a little jam like consistency.
  • Add yoghurt and swirl through
  • Top with chia seeds and serve!
